This is what I have found in Teasmith the other day. A bit unusual thing to sell in a teashop but they have lots of interesting bits n bobs from Japan, not just tea.
Apparently this figurine called Peko was chosen amongst thousands of others on their trip to Japan and brought over. Something was attracting me to it so I bought it. I have later found "Peko" written at the back of its head which revealed more things about it. Apparently it's a really popular mascot in Japan. Read more about it here
