3RD WORKSHOP: CHARACTER DESIGN

The interesting part of this workshop was that we were designing a character based on the info we have gathered about the borough and not by observing the people that live in it. We have chosen to work on Islington and created this bad boy!

I know it looks like a big mess but don't worry, it all makes sense. It's got wings and a crown as Angel and King's Cross are one of Islington's most known areas. Most of Islington is situated in North London hence the "N". Camouflage pattern represents the endless differences between the areas in Islington and the spikes at the bottom show a lot of Islington is still pretty dodgy. It actually reminds me of the Mighty Boosh "Coconut Nightmare" characters.
