I found this drawing you see on the left, I guess it's back from the 70s. Even though it's not in colour there are colourful lines drawn around the face - it was my immediate association to aura. Kirlian photography is said to have an ability to capture people's aura so that was my connection. I have drawn an example with the indian guy. Illustrator
Chrissie Abbott has done similar on few of her illustrations, colourful outlines.

Also, real Kirlian photos look like they are some planets or objects from the universe, something surreal.

- form of a photogram made with high voltage
- discovered by Semyolan Kirlian 1939
- object on a photographic plate connected to a source of high voltage gets colour/ shining edges around it
- might be compared to human aura- the leaf experiment
- David Bowie "Earthling" (Little Wonder) uses Kirlian photography
//// To be honest, they are very much reminiscent of photograms/////
