PHOTOCOPY LITHO MONOPRINT 2

New results! Very pleased. First they came out really bad as there was too much ink and I didn't mix it with enough oil (it shouldn't be sticky).
I almost gave up but according to Barbara you need to make at least four prints, only then you get best results. She was so right! The forth one came out just as I imagined.

TEA PROJECT

One thing I remember is when you are creating branding for say, Asian style restaurant, don't over kill it with those specific cultural elements, include them in moderation. Also, spend most time developing idea rather that thinking immediately how it's gonna look like. We spend first 2 weeks just researching tea market, coming up with names. Then we worked on a mood for about a week and only then started visualizing it.

TEA PROJECT

Right. Remember earlier I mentioned I'm not gonna panic, will rather take it easy, think about it thoroughtly and see where it takes me? Well, this is the week before the hand in. I started being a bit unsure about the whole outcome at the beginning of the week and even yesterday. Actually, I was pretty disappointed with my work yesterday morning, almost gave in but managed to come up with the solution that has made it look 100 % better! I was so happy I treated myself with a drink (well, a few more ; )). I need to say, re-evaluating your work with other people is really helpful. Sometimes you stare at something for so long you don't know what looks good and what doesn't anymore. Others can see it with fresh eyes. I am pretty pleased so all good in the hood today!

LONDON TREASURES

TEA PROJECT

The project is coming to an end. Very enjoyable. I have not yet come to my final design but instead of panicking I am exploring new possibilities and trusting it's all gonna work out. This is a new approach I'm taking, let's see how it goes. Will keep you posted.
